This statement print shares a memory about an exuberant middle-aged man attending a summer festival somewhere in northern Europe.
It was a clear summer solstice day back in 1997, blue-sky overhead. Those big Northern Lights- geez it's been 20 years. That Kato instrument...sounded so fine. A beautiful girl played it from the north. She lit the sky with a stroke-of-those strings. It really was a midsummer dream that all of us could see. The man recalls, “She gave us a musical light show using natural light rays. Hana, Hana, Hana I can’t forget you now. All my life you're haunting me. I’m enamored by you so. I’ve missed seeing you perform. I’ve felt a hole in the sky for so long. These days I’ve learned to take the artificial light shows at concerts and just smile along”.
